Elsa Rivera – Blue Water

A native of Colombia, Elsa grew up in Santa Monica and visited the Monterey Peninsula for the first time in 1981. Two weeks later, she moved here to make it home, where she raised her two children, one who is special needs. Working as a home care nurse initially, she veered into Health Care Administration and successfully ran a local home health agency for over 20 years. Elsa is an entrepreneur who runs a Healthcare and International Business Management & Consulting firm, ENR & Associates. Elsa uses her business expertise to help start up and established entrepreneurs with business management which varies from developing efficient office systems, quality improvement programs, HR and payroll, bookkeeping to an array of ancillary business services. Being tri-lingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese, this has led her to expand her business internationally, to various countries in Latin America. To enhance her fun in life, her other business venture, involves her love of dance and music. YES! Management manages a local musician and books performers and musicians of many genres as part of her event planning services. Elsa’s community involvement is as diverse as her interests. She is a Rotarian, currently the CFO and one of the Directors of the Big Sur Food & Wine Foundation, the Executive Director of the Big Sur Fashion Show, has served on Boards for The Wahine Project, the Del Mar Regional Health Center. She was a coach for Special Olympics for 15 years, volunteered for John XXIII Aids Ministry, Veteran’s Transition Center, Gathering For Women and many others. Her ongoing work in Big Sur and Palo Colorado after the fire and now the storms, keeps her busy networking and helping in any way she can. Elsa loves to surf and has just joined G.I. Josie as one of the working committee for their Blue Water Project, helping women recovering from PTSD and MST.
