G.I. Josie was proud and honored to be a part of the dedication ceremony on October 11th, 2016 for the Central Coast VA Cemetery at Ford Ord in Seaside, California.  Many of our esteemed and local dignitaries, current and past, were on hand, as well as numerous veterans representing several wars, to consecrate the cemetery, which was 20+ years in the making.

The ceremony was concluded by the Memorial Service and Interment of Major William Willams, U.S. Army (Ret). While he passed away in 1998 with his wife following him in 2015, it was their final wish to be interred at The California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery.

“Our Father and Mother had nothing but confidence in all of the wonderful people working to make this day to happen. We, as a family, sincerely thank each and every one of you for allowing us to make our parent’s final wish a reality.”

It is a wonderful sight to see so many come together for the benefit of our veterans. They deserve nothing less.
