Today was a celebration of the expansion of the Veteran’s Transition Center in Marina, Ca with the opening of the new Quad which will house 16 veterans, some previously homeless. The VTC has been working nearly 20 years in Monterey County to bring services and shelter to our veterans from near and far, and they are not done yet. In the pipeline is a Lightfighter Village, which will also be located on what once was Ford Ord and will house an additional 70+ veterans.
Congratulations to all the veterans who will now be able to call the Monterey Quad home.
